Spring hurray

Well here it is the start to Spring and all the beautiful flowers..

my SIL Barb mentioned this challenge so I thought sure lets give it a try.

So here is my try at this layout and my just add ink idea.

I inked the frog then I add some color .

I am not sure who the frog stamp belongs to ???

used Echo Park paper - Birthday Wishes 

used my Cameo to create the stamp look and sentiment

flower my daughter made 

little pink hearts and sparkle ribbon just in my stash of ribbons 

used Martha Stewart for the fancy ribbon .

OK my first challenge last night was

wherever your inspiration takes you, clean and simple or lots of layers. It's all good as long as we can see the bones of the sketch

I love the sentiment I used on the card

now the next challenge I found sort of hard an all white card ...

Cupcake Inspirations

yes a white card ...now I have to say on my card I did add a bit of color 

it is hard to tell but the paper behind the birds and branches is sparkle 

and I made the birds a light blue

and of course the sentiment in black letters.

Well Barb found another challenge and this one is really pretty

Well today started out great had a craft sale and some awesome stuff for sale ....

 Stampin up and Close to your Heart seemed to big the biggest ..

there were materials and knitting available to 

so when I got home my SIL Barb said hey here's a challenge 

so I gave it a try

so here is my card the first one I made I did not like so I did an easier one ...

I got this card done last night I so wanted to do the

Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #278

A beautiful inspiration photo for the challenge this week. So many things to pick from...the colors, the dog, the staircase, things on a wreath or tree, the list goes on and on. I can't wait to see what you pick to draw inspiration from for your project this week. I hope you plan on playing along with our challenge!

so in having some fun with this photo I came up with this idea....

on this layout I am using the card has the base 

then stamped the Santa and colored with my Chameleon pens

the tree is a Memory box die and then I add some gems and ribbons 

the kids are cut from my Cameo .

I popped the kids on the stair case peeping .

sort my picture of that is not the best .

Well I got another challenge in ..

in my last post a comment was left inviting me to try this new challenge 

The Crafter's Café Challenge 

the theme for this week is 

321 Recipe 

3 patterned papers

2 Butterflies 

1 Flower 

so I thought I would give a try 

My papers are from DCW I believe...

ribbon just had it thought it added some more color 

the sentiment is Adornit 

colored the flower with water color pencils

and my two butterflies again in my stuff...so am not sure who they are .

Snow Snow ...go away ..

Well it's Saturday and the snow is falling 

so it give me a chance to sit in my craft area and look at some challenges

Stenciling

Well I finally did a card that has stenciling on it 

I was looking at a challenge about stenciling and I have to admit

I have not stencil and no very little about how to do it ...watched a few utubes.

But really don't own stencils ...I was talking with my SIL's about stenciling ...

and they gave me the idea about how to get a stencil ...use my Silhoutte Cameo and make one...

so the challenge is

I used Memento Dew Drops and dabbers to create this card .

Altantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #248

so this my take on the layout ..yes I know I forgot the bow ..

the paper used was a piece leftover I have no idea whos it is 

the sentiment is from ADORNit ..you have to do the coloring ...

so I tried my Chameleon...colors 

Would love to learn more about these ...coloring is awesome with them.

and 3 lttle purple buttons you get at the dollar store.
