Friday Mashup # 145

The challenge I choose for today is
Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project with "Sketch."
  2. Create a project using some "Sponging"
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a project with "Sponging using the Sketch."
so here is my try at the layout
I know it is hard to see but I did do some sewing on this card
my SIL has been encouraging me to give sewing a try
I did try sponging the heart
Paper used Harmonie
the heart and arrow are a silhouette cut
you can pick them up at my SIL Barb's blog.
She shares lots of need things
The reason I am slow on trying sewing on cards
is my sewing machine
It was given to me so I need to learn all about it
The sewing machine from the 60's
my Bare found the manual online and printed it out for me.
so I guess I can start to learn all about it
Well I hope you enjoy the card
make sure you stop Friday Mashup and give their challenge a try

Hi Judy,

YAYYYYY - you broke out the machine. I'm so happy for you. You will have a ball. I use my machine a LOT and it really lends a nice touch to cards.

Love ya,

You managed to make a cute Valentine's Day card, Judy. You've gone even a step farther than me because I've never tried to sew on any of my cards...maybe someday. :) Thanks for playing with us this week at the Friday Mashup.

Awww did a wonderful job on your card and using your sewing machine. Sometimes I think the older machines are much easier to learn and work with. Jim got me a new one last year and it has a cd to tell me how to use it.Problem now is..the bobbin gets wadded up when I try to use now I need time to figure out what is going on.NEVER had to use a cd to do that before. I like SIMPLE things!!!LOL
