Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #99

This week's challenge is brought to you by Margaret Moody! She is looking for some Christmas cards using the colours:
Brown, Green, Gold with White or Cream!

so this is the card I came up with and the reason behind it was
that my SIL Nina had put up a family challenge
you can go there and watch the video
so I decide to do the Merry Monday Christmas challenge
 using the masking tape
sort of wish I had used softer greens and browns
the picture below show  off gold

then I did another card just simply
to show off the masking again
now the colors used are all Memento
the sentiments are Stampin Up
gold is dollars store paper
and so are the holly used on the xmas card
Make sure you check out the challenge over at
Merry Monday Christmas Challenge
and check out the SIL Nina and Barb
for their awesome takes on the masking challenge

Hi Judy,

Love both your creations, but in all fairness, the second one is... wowza! Its so tasteful etc! The first one is terrific too, don't ge me wrong, but the second one is what caught my eye right off the bat.

Look at you all sneaky and taking on two challenges. Both cards are fantastic and your blew the challenges out of the water. So glad you could play along with both.

What a great stripe techinique, it really looks great showing off the sparkles AND toned down in your simpler card, too! So glad you're playing along this week at Merry Monday!

What a great technique! I'll have to give that a try! Your Christmas card is perfect for this challenge. Love the addition of the holly! And the bird is soft and serene! Thanks for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!
