  Ok

It's some ones B-day today

now I know she loves Orchids

so yes I tried to make a card with orchids on it

I will keep trying to get better at them

so this the card and my paper made orchids

 Wow I got a card done and because I am so behind

I put two challenges  together

first challenge was  Merry Monday Christmas Challenge  

second one was The Challenge #5

found at Always Playing with Paper

saw this challenge at my SIL Nina blog looked fun so I gave it a try

so here is my take on the two challenges together ....

paper was from my leftover's so I don't know who's it is (boohoo)

so here my take on putting both challenges together.

the Paper used My Mind's Eye

and the blue snowflake paper Dollar store paper

snowman I cut out put two together to get some height away from the card

the Happy Holiday are Stampin Up

 

so here is another project I have been working on

Here is a neat little gift a very dear friend thought....

I might find  neat to have and use

I thought she was giving me a bush of pencils

and I said oh yes Bare can always use pencils in his shop

then she showed me the ends of the pencils

HOW neat...

just white card stock

sentiment Micheal's $1.50 bin

made the little tag out scraps

tie some ribbon around it

flowers from Verve - Kind Words

hard to see but I did emboss the flowers with black ..

that just had back surgery

so this is the card I came up with and the reason behind it was

 using the masking tape

sort of wish I had used softer greens and browns

the picture below show  off gold

then I did another card just simply

to show off the masking again

now the colors used are all Memento

and so are the holly used on the xmas card
