Well I had started to do a challenge ...which I will finish today and posted later

when I got this email from Stamp TV

 

I love the design so I started working on it

if you click on Stamp Tv it will take you to the instructions ..plus a video

with Gina K showing you how to do the card.

 

now in making this card I learned a lot like makeup sponges

will work ...and I need a clear embossing pad ...just have the liquid form

and the try I had it all over ...I can see the pad would be way easier

now the colors I used are from Memento- Dew Drop

Pear Tart

Tangelo

Teal Zeal

the little flower stamp was just Micheal's

the sentiment Stampin Up Whimsical Words

the fancy scallop from Spellbinders

it was fun to try and make ...maybe give a try.

 

This little drink here was what my grandson Ethan ordered

a strawberry smoothie

and this is the way Cora's Restaurant service it to him

thought it was neat ...they even try to make the kids feel special

Well I thought I would give

Seize the Sketch

challenge a try

 

 

so here is my card 

want to show that the little mice are raised

I used blue and white twine to connect the little shells

and black twine for fishing line.

Paper used : Brazzill Blue

lite grey looking paper actually was a grey blue

(need to learn how to take better pictures)

the little mice and nuts are from Penny Black Gone fishing

the little fish along the bottom Stampin Up

Used water colors to color

I colored with watercolors

and Tombows

I flocked the bottom of the card

I sprayed with some Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist

but my picture does not show the shimmer of sparkle

I added little bubbles of color to the candles ..but it is hard to see them

I need to learn how to take better pictures to show all the glitter.

 first of all Happy New Years to all

Now on to the fun stuff today I got to hang with my 2 SIL

what an awesome time and the challenges were set

first one ..

CAS(E) this sketch

so here is my take on it ..

check out Nina's and Barb's blogs

some awesome cards there for this challenge

supplies used paper from K & company

 the words and bees are a Stampendous CRD166

color them with gel pens and Tombow pens

 

Next challenge was sent by our SIL Barb

using buttons ...

and here is my try at the challenge

Now the supplies used were actually scraps

the stamp used for words was Verve

now the flowers with the buttons my daughter Sam

made on her circuit the leaves done on the silhouette cameo ..

 

Now this next card was made for Christy...

she does not like spiders ...and she just moved into a new place

and all she seems to find is spiders... she says

so I remember the story about the Christmas Spider ...

so that is where the idea for the card came ...

and K & Company paper

spiders cut with silhouette 

 tree shape also cut with my silhouette

now that took me a bit of work and paper to get it right .

Long with the card I also gave her the story about the spider

plus the instructions to make her own ..

I was just checking out some blogs ...when I saw

my SIL Nina card challenge

and I just had to try using this neat little tree for

the challenge from

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge

 

 

so here is my card

 I had made one in my last entry..

 

so I thought lets make a new card for the challenge

the little tree is made from K & Company paper

wording used on the card were stamps given to me 

the rest of the card is mostly things bought at the dollar store..

Ok another card this week

my SIL Nina had sent me some card making books

back a while ago ...

and I have to admit the last challenge I struggled with

cause I was trying to copy the video card ...

and did not have the stamps to do it that way...

so I decide to go through some of the books Nina had sent me

I saw this card and just had to try it ..

what do you think???

the paper use are mostly scraps

because I was not sure if I could do it ..

if you would like to try it

Paper Piece ..

my paper pieces were the wand, his shoes, and the 3 Christmas balls

 

his boots I embossed with black

the wand I raised and painted and add a gold little star

the Christmas Balls cut out of scrap piece of Christmas paper

then raised them above the stamp patterns on the card

now this card is watercolors ..painted by me...

yes I tried watercolors again ...but this time I tried to follow

what I had been shown by SIL Barb..

Thanks for the lesson Barb ...

I flocked the fur on the hat and tried flocking the snowman face..
