The view of the river ..the colors so alive ..boy did God know what He was doing when He made the four seasons ..

Here are some of the last salmon swimming the South Thompson River

Seems so sad ...the struggle ...the laying of the eggs..and the end..they give it all.
We did a pitstop at my mom and dad's ..I wanted to show the rock that my sister in law had painted for them a couple of years ago ..when they move to Pritchard...

and mom's flowers still alive with color and the tree nest door so beatiful..

Has we started are walk to setup to fish the river we came upon this hurt buck
it looked like his front legs had been hurt ..either by a gun shoot or by being hit by a car... the highway is just above the river. He got nerves and then got into the river and swam

to and spot called Banana Island....he finally got up to where he could eat and was close to the water...how sad ...

Has we walked along ..Barry pointed out that a few bears had been around ...has you can see the tracks

My husband ..loves the fishing and camping life..we can hardly wait to be free of Kamloops and other things. If you know what I mean.

Down the road we go then we stop along the way at a creek bed by Jasper ....

We then head on to Mt Robson and what a treat ..you can see the mountain top...

At the rest stop for Mt Robson...we learned that there was a set of mountains called The Overlander Mts...

and also a waterfall..called Overlander Falls and what a beautiful walk to them about a 1 hour walk both ways...and well worth it....

And the history ....The Forsyth's are related to Catherine Schubert...so it was neat.
Last day of our stay.....here is one more group picture of Madison...the boys..and Mindi's center piece it is beautiful

Here's a picture of a clock that Shawn bought Mindi for her birthday..it is beautiful and so unigue.

Monday we decide to go out to Shawn and Mindi's good friends ....Melissa got to see the sheep and the farm cats and a beautiful sunset...one thing the prairie's does offer is beautiful sunsets and sun raises...wish I could get some good pictures ..but I am not yet there.

Well our little Madison is back up and in action ..here she is with one of the farm cats....and boy is this cat purring...and Madison just love him.

The girls just loved it out here ...

Saturday we just relaxed and headed into Grand Praire for the day...Barry and I were looking at the fifth wheel selection there....and the work ...boy you can found four jobs if you want ...at McDonald 14 years old wages start at $8.00 and most of the the other staff are at $10.50 to $13.00 per hour. And the cost of living is about the same has here in Kamloops. We had our big dinner to night Mindi's parent came over and we had a great time. We all relaxed around a game called Settler..even barry got into it. The only downside was our little Madison got the flu bug...and boy she was sick...poor kid.

A quiet night of left overs and movies...ahahah so great to be here.

Well let's start at Friday ..the start of the Thanksgiving Long-weekend .
Our journey with us heading to Fairview, Alberta ..to see our son and daughter-in-law and the grandkids.
Can't wait to see them ....we 4 days to visit. We always stop by Blue River a beautiful road side pitstop...this is where the blue jays were...throw bread crumbs for them and down they would come. We then head off the bad weather of snow and rain started after Grand Cache , Alberta.
(I wish Barb or Miles could of been there the sky and the clouds and the sun...boy their kind of pictures.)

Good morning to All
There are no perfect words to say
How much you mean to me
The special closeness that we share
Is there for all to see

You're both someone I can talk with
And feel very much at ease
You've always been there for me
With your kind and caring deeds

So now I'd like to take the time
To say I'm truly blessed
For when it comes to in-laws
You're all the best
Have a great day

Not what we say about our blessings,
but how we use them,
is the true measure of our thanksgiving.
"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord." Psalms 106:1

IT's someone's birthday today guess who??????

Happy Birthday To You Happy Birthday To You
Happy Birthday dear Neti
Love from all of us
(thanks to Gina's Garden kit ..for the elements used .)
Here's a cute one:
God is sitting inHeaven when a scientist says to Him,
"Lord, we don't need you anymore. Science has finally
figured out a way to create life out of nothing.
In other words, we can now do what you did in the
beginning."
"Oh, is that so? Tell me..." replies God"Well," says the scientist,
"we can take dirt and form it into the likeness of You and
breathe life into it, thus creating man."
So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to
mold the soil.
"Oh no, no, no..."interrupts God,
"Get your dirt."

Funny how we try to take God out of everything ...but the Father knows.
My son-in-law brought this over last night
