Cut 'N Paste Butterfly Memories by K& Company

I cut out the butterflies ..and raised them off the card

the Happy Mothers Day is from TLC ..and I sparkly it up ..

 

picture of my Roses ...so pretty..

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to ALL

well ...here we go ...the cards

this card is using my new Cameo ...

and from my SIL  Barb...who gives you the pattern for the hearts the arrow

in the card above I used the paper pattern ..laid it on white card stock and this is what I got....

the hugs and kisses is from a Silhouette pattern I bought.



Now in this card I used the heart part of the cutout ...

removed a few of the lines

just to give it a bit of different look...

 

now this card is from a Silhouette pattern I bought the top is the outside of the card

below is the inside

 

the little robot was also a pattern I purchased from Silhouette..

I am so glad my SIL Barb ...kept saying you will have fun with this machine ...

yes I have a lot of  learning ...I must do ..but there is so much help out there for the Silhouette Machine ..

and I have two very talented SIL Barb and Nina ...that help ..share ..and make some awesome cards.

Now this next card ...started out ...by my chatting to Barb about things to do

with the grand girls ..for their mom...she said get them to make a dinner for their mom...

I took it one step farther ...so over a couple of weeks I got them to prep/cook...and got them to also write down the recipes

and then make the meal ...I took pictures ...(but we did not tell Mom...)

Here is what the girls gave their Mom for

Valentine's Day

I know the recipe cards are bigger then the little book ...

but when I started this projected I was not sure how I was going to put it together..

then a friend put an idea into my head ...

But I just could not change the recipe cards ..the girls had written themselves ..

so I used picture corners in and now mom and the girls can remove the recipe cards and create the meal ...

(the pictures were fun ...just had to make sure I cut them right for the folding part)

(also wish I got better pictures)

Ok a Friday Mashup ...it has been a while ...

the challenge was time

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:

1. Make a project with a "Time Theme".

2. Or Make a project using the "Color Black".

3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with a " Time theme using the color Black".

 

I cut out a few of the clocks and raised them on the card

my stamp Best of Times ...embossed in black...

 

yes I know I used a little to much dark brown and not enough black ...

but there is black ...

the paper used is Bo Bunny 12" Timepiece Tick Tock

the stamp used 7gypsies From the Journey.

 

Well the next few picture are of the kitchen...

 

yes the Bare is doing an awesome job ..

the cherry wood looks awesome...

we still have counter tops and back splashes to do ...

but it is coming together...

I enjoyed trying this fold out ...

it is called a napkin fold ....



We a couple who just celebrated their 57 anniversary

wow ...that is so neat...

this is the card I did for them ... 

again I used the napkin fold ....

Barb has this neat machine called a Silhouette Cameo

and she designs and shares for free her designs..

the ladybug was her free share for the mini blog hop

Now she has told me many times to go get a machine

that I would love it ....so for Xmas

my Bare got me one ...

The machine arrived this Friday ...

so Barb here is my attempt ...my first cut ...

the candles and swirls from the draw with all small things...

I tried to cut out some of the burst to make two layers ...

and some were sparkly...like fire works are ...

our neighbours have this awesome planter outside ..

which Marlene did herself ...

 

the water dripping then freezing ..has added so much

character to this arrangement...

Seize the Birthday

Seize the Birthday Challenge #1-Feminine Birthday Sketch

and here is my try ...I have to say this was my second card ...

yes the flowers in the middle are pressed flowers

 from a summer camping trip

this was my first try at the challenge

and would of work till I put the Happy Birthday at the bottom..

again dried flowers in the middle...

the paper used in both these cards were from

a pad called Tim Coffey  by K&Company

Spellbinders to make the holders for the dried flowers..

I used a clear sheet for the layer on top of the flowers.

 

 This the flower press I used...

my Brother-In-Law had gotten this for me years ago ..

and my SIL was always encouraging me to do dried flowers on cards...

so with this challenge I gave it a try ...

the paper had that picture of the ship so ..I thought lets go with this ...

I need to learn so much more about embossing ...

on the Welcome Home I used Stampendous-Shabby white

embossing enamel...

I used the old fashion picture corners to age the picture ...

well I can't believe card number 3 ...wow

now this card was neat to make ...

I did not have the hole punch tool they used

so the good old darning needle was used...

going to get a hole punch for my craft room...

so my SIL Barb ask if I wanted to join her in doing the challenge

and I jumped at the chance....this was the layout...

and here is my card ....

the paper is from a pack I bought at Memory Junction

called Viola by Memory box...

the flower is from piece in my collection of dollar stuff..

I used one of Micheal's stamps ...I need to learn how to emboss ...better.

I used my Cuttlebug to do the background .

We have been talking a while about redoing the kitchen ...

well they have started...



Bare hard at it ...

we got a kick out this has cabinets came down ...



do you notice ...the first color you see is what we painted when we moved in

the middle strips of orange are the original colors ...then the other owner had

done flowers ...looks like the kitchen had a few changes done before we got here..
