Well I thought I would give Mojo Monday challenge a try ...

then I had been checking out some over challenges and spotted this one

from Tuesday Throwdown

Our challenge theme this week is "Make Your Own Background"  Let's see those creative framings for your gorgeous images!  

 

so here is my try at both challenges...

Paper used for the four squares  SEI - Chocolat

Recollection brown paper..

the background butterflies are embossing fold

from Craft Concepts -Butterfly Kisses

I just wipe the butterflies with a bit of white to bring them out more..

the twine and button from my stash of stuff..

Been a while since I did a Friday Mashup ...

so I thought why not give it a try...

so here is the challenge

Here's your Mashup Challenge:

1. Create a project using the "Sketch".
2. Create a "Birthday" project.
3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Birthday project using the Sketch"

so here is my try ...

I used a clear piece of plastic to make the square

then pop it up and then I cut the flower that match the one below

then pop the flower on the plastic...and cut two little flowers

and did the same to them ...

Ok Nina put up another challenge for us ladies....

Cuttlebug Embossing with wax paper...

so here are my attempts and ladies

let me tell you this was a challenge ...

I had to borrow wax paper from neighbour

that's right ..bought some from the dollar store ...really no wax to speak of

Bare the went to Safeway for me and got some ...it was microwavable...

then I talked to my neighbour ...who said come see me if you can't found the good stuff.

So over I went ...she gave me a few ideas...

and a piece of really wax paper ...so here are my tries

I must say the dark ink looked good..

you can see where the wax  marks are and how nice it showed up..

had to give some other embossing folders I had

a try

black

then in

blue

and this like the first two ...but done in red ...

I have to say the red was my first try at the challenge

just did not seem able to put it into a card

but I will try ...with the others I made to create something...

all paper used was Recollections card stock

Misc ribbons...flower on green card..from Nina

so here is my attempt at the challenge

the butterflies are a dollar store product

from a product called Bitty Scrap Pads..(thanks Nina)

the seed packs are from my digital files ...

and the saying is for our neighbour

Him and his wife are so great

and there back yard is beautiful when in full bloom

I will get a few pictures later in the seasons .

the bees I cut with my Cameo ..and glued all the pieces together

the flowers are some of the stuff I got from my SIL

the stamp used in the background is Taylor Expression.

Used foam to raise two of the bees and one flower ...

Here goes a challenge from

Scrapbooker's Paradise...

so here are my attempts

I have two birthday tomorrow ..

our granddaughter Abi

and our son in laws DJ....

so I used these cards to try out the challenge

the balloons and presents are Jolee

 

Now most of you read ...our granddaughter was in

a competition

she did not win any prizes

but it was great for her ...she was the only grade 11 student

and only her and two other girls

were entered into this

she had fun ..and they put on a great barbq for the competitor

The month of March brings those first signs of spring, and of course - St. Patrick's Day! So to celebrate the month of March, we want to see your GREEN or St. Pat's Day creations

Well this next item ..is build by our granddaughter Missy...

Missy has taken woodworking in school

this table got her an A...plus

her teacher entered her in a competition

At the TRU which is our university here in town

The competition is Friday the 8th ....

she is so excited

and we are so proud of her ...

Papa is beaming ...we all know how much he loves

doing wood projects ...says she gets it from him ...

 

Thought I would try a Mojo Monday challenge

now you all know my SIL Nina challenge us with using a

bounce sheet ..so I thought lets try the Mojo challenge

and see what I could do

well here is what I came up with ..
