my SIL Nina did this challenge ...and the card she made

made me want to give it a try ..

so here is my take on the challenge

I used Taylored Expressions Butterfly Parade stamps

Butterfly in the Sky Die cuts to cut out my butterflies used .

paper was just in my leftover papers.

The sentiment is from the stamp set I used .

this next card was made for my daughter and her husband

 

I did the card for their anniversary they were married in December so I thought the

poinsettia would be ok and the little hearts all hanging made me think of Christmas ornaments .

I used Evergreen Trio to cut the trees out of the white cardstock

then cut out the green trees and stuck them into the white card stock.

Stitching- Family Challenge

OK a family challenge ....so much fun....

sewing or stitches something that makes you think it is sewn...

I have to fix my granddaughters jacket today ...a new zipper needed.

So I know black but hey it was the old zipper so I thought why not

I sewed the zippers on to the card

then sewed the paper on I fuss cut the flowers and the mannequin

and popped them up and also the wording.

Our "Toppings" option this time around is to use...

        somewhere on your card and or project.

so here is my card

here it is

now what I did was emboss the paper I colored  the embossing folder

then paper in and this is what I got ...then I embossed the acetate with the same embossing folder (with no color). Then put the acetate on top of my colored paper ...

here is a close up to show you what I mean ...

I then using embossing powder I did the Happy Birthday

now the product I am using is Heat Resistant Acetate

you can stamp & heat emboss use embossing folders and die cuts with no worries of

no wiggles ...no distortion....no warping.

CHRISTMAS! 

After all, it’s beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS! Everywhere we go… (oh, just enjoy it! *wink* *wink*)

I stamped it and tried water coloring him I actually stamped the moon and stars on the blue

background and then fuss cut the branches and chickadee out and layered it

it is hard to tell but the blue paper has embossed snowflakes on it

(need to learn how to take better pictures)hehehe
