Well this morning we were planning our trip ..when all of sudden we could hear cows..I know that around us is cattle farms ..but these moos were closer than the field across the road ....so Barry popped his head out the door and well...as you can see from the pictures..we were having the cowboys coming through with a herd of cows..it was so cool ..I was not the only person to grab the camera ...another fellow did the same thing...it was so COOL

It was so great to start the day ...we all knew we had things to do in town ..so we headed in.

The New Look for Melissa ...well folks..she did it...she got her hair styled ..and what a sweety she is know ...looks all gown-up..everyone loves it

It has been a very busy day!!!!!

Barb and Miles got me the most coolest clothes hanger..this thing is awesome you can hang so much on it and then it folds away ..great for us people who live in small spaces...I love it Barb.....thanks again...

Papa found a frog and of course our little Abi just had to see this little critter..she was sure it was her frog for life....but Papa told her frog have to been able to hop around and have other frog friends

This was an awesome time for us all....family sitting and watching some pretty awesome fireworks....many of these shots may not be great to some but to me ..these pictures mean alot ....see Miles had taken time and show me some really great things about my camera...things I did not even know about it ....so this was special....and between the 2 slide shows I have shown here ...Miles had to keep reminding me ...your card in your camera can only hold so many pictures...but I want to try all that he had shown me ...THANKS MILES....

Well good evening ..I have been trying hard to get my picture done from our time in Osoyoos...here's one of two of the most favorite people in my life

This group of pictures shows the beauty that Miles and Barb have to look at everyday ...boy it must be a drag...of course I am joking ..it is peaceful and the water inviting ..just ask Miles ..who was the brave one of all us and stay swimming with a little girl (Melissa) and put a big smile on her face.(thanks Miles)

The last day of school June 29th ..a day that our granddaughter had changes to her whole life ...a new home ...a new way of life ...saying bye to a few friends ....and passing to Grade 6 and to a new look in her school in September....her school has been chosen to became the first Science school in B.C....we are keeping her in the school ..we think she will have an awesome time next year ....

Well sorry I am so far behind ...but the adventure has began...and things needed to be set up ...we have to spend some times at our friends home to get the fifth wheel up to power..for the computer..while we were there ...Melissa found a new toy


She loved it....that was the weekend of June 22, 2007.
Now she wants to know when she can drive the truck..hehehehe

Well what a nice night at the lake ......Melissa and I got home about 5:00 last night ...so here's what we got to see....

Papa had a nice fire going for us and a nice brook trout barb-qing....what a life ...then he helped Melissa make those awesome smores...

golden brown ...and good. ( hey sis did you get our favourite marshmallows yet) Neti found those awesome coconut covered marshmallows ..boy roast them and they are so good.

What made us friends in the long ago

When we first met?

Friends may come and friends may go but,

and still invites you to grow.

In the last few weeks I have learned that next to the word LOVE ...

the word used the most and yet has boundaries on is "FRIENDS"

Here I have found a few statements of friends or friendship

none tell me that it is only MY WAY FRIEND...they say we are

friends because we are honest and open and accept one another

we see that we will make mistakes do things that others don't understand...

but are true friends not ones that use that word to make themselves special

cause they called you a friend ..will understand and stand by you....where a person

might cut you out of family and friendship .....their understanding of FRIENDSHIP and LOVE

and being there for one another is what is inside their box ...and they never can be a friend

because they always change the rules on how they see friendship and family ...

to themselves they are perfect and never have done anything wrong to anybody ....

I have been very luck that my sister in law has always been the friend that accepts me ..

she see me down she see me with my foot in my mouth she see me and still LOVES ME

and is my FRIEND through all....she stands beside me not stabbing me in the back....

or turning the others against me ...or cutting me out of her life .And I am also blessed

that my new sister in law is allowing that kind of friendship to bloom too.

I have prayed to have the same relationships with my sisters and brothers and other family members....

In the last few weeks I have see this happening with in our family circle .....people hurt

because in the name of you did not do it my way .....your out

listening and accepting, loving...being there through thick and thin.

Or are you the kind of friend that will be there when the casket is there

and you feel you have won?

Well camp is set and the lake was inviting ....now the weather ..well

the weather is not beening nice ..but hey we can sit in comfort

Well as you can see Electra is right at home ...bad weather or not ...she can sleep

Thanks to Miles and Barb for the call and the love you sent ....we miss you guys and will see you soon .....David I will try not to out fish your brother.....( Neti we are still in the lead for fish ..hehehe)..thanks for the call to ...it was nice to know the cell numbers worked for you all .

The last bunch of flowers from my garden ...

Our sundeck..where many a fun time was had ..and it over looked our beautiful yard...this is where I will miss the most ..my yard ..our outside firepit area....our fruit trees..and the horseshoes pits.

The beautiful cabinets my husband built..many dinners were made in this kitchen..lots of love and laughter

empty..empty ...lots of memories...and fires

Well this is now the end and the begining to the BIG ADVENTURE..we ask you to keep us in your prayers ..and remember we love you all dearly ..I hope to be able to add to my blog as we go ...and share where we are and where we are going ...

OH NO I'M GETTING OLD ....I'M TURNING TWO

She was a bit scared to hold all the balloons. But soon she was right into it. Her party was just family that were in town ..papa was not there so we did not get a video of it ....but she is having a party with all the kids and they have a pool with water slide for 4 hours next Saturday and Papa will be videoing that ..so I will have more ..to show

She sure enjoyed her day ....

Hannah's birthday was yesterday ....and did not get it blogged right away

I have been so busy ...I pray she will

forgive me ..we love her dearly...and wish her the best

Well we are down to 8 days left to go ....now it really hits home...

we are starting to see an open empty house ..

Our granddaughter Melissa was sad yesterday ...it is her ..very first move in her life ..

but she is looking forward also to the traveling and visiting we will be able to do.

So if you could just keep her in your prayers.

This home here is a friend of ours ...it a beautiful old English style.home...we have been watch the river came up fast ..they are on the North Thompson so it is coming up fast...

The start to a great slumber party ...Melissa made up little gift bags for the girls ...the trampoline was a hit ....the snacks were plenty and lots of cold drinks.

I tried to get some in the tent pictures of them asleep ..but has you can see..still need to learn more about my camera. They were all woken up with the sounds of a bird chirping...we have birdhouses with baby birds in them ..so the mom birds are always chirping. Well girls thanks for coming ..it was fun.

Barry and I have been driving around to a few of the favorite lakes we love and where the fishing is awesome ....need to fined that first spot where we can stop and smell the flowers

(know what I mean).

And also we are trying to plan our time to visit all those we love and miss....and can stay for more than a day

Also as many of you know it is my birthday today ..most times I try really hard not to notice them and I try to not remind everybody ...but my sis BARB always remembers and sends me so much love.(so if you can stop by her blog ...she always has free elements ..that she creates and shares with all....and my brother -in-law Miles ..thanks for always being willing to sit and teach me more about scrapbooking...Miles and Barb are the best...love you guys . Dave and Neti phoned last night to wish me Happy Birthday ...they are on the road this morning ..heading to Yellowstone National Park for two weeks.....have fun ...love you guys.
