Well here is an update on my son and daughter in laws ..wonderful 10th anniversary this last weekend they had a weekend away in Grand Prairie and ....yes they got tattoos..the first initials of Shawn --- Mindi ---Jordana---Madison.

Mindi had her tattoo put on her lower back and Shawn on his shoulder. Ouch Mindi ..way to go girl.

Well good day to all just a short hi ..then off to the races for me ...helping a friend get ready for an awesome yard sale this weekend..she has been in her home for 39 years and now decide to sale ..so do we have good items for the big event ...so I have not done any layouts ..but here are a few pictures...to show off the great weekend we had at Auntie Barb's and Uncle Miles ....that Missygirl and Auntie Barb ...crazy I tell you ..

The Pond at Our School

Some of you know that my Granddaughter goes to a Science School ... last year they started a pond to show how the water world works ....it has turned into a very awesome place with many learning things for the teachers to show the kids ...I would like to say a special thanks to Mr Bloom and all his hard work and the kids that help get the garbage and other things that seem to fall into the pond ...you all our doing a great job.

Well some of you will remember I had a picture of my dad's stop sign garden ...well as you can see it is over loaded with awesome tomatoes , cucumbers, and mom's peppers ...their yard is beautiful...way to go you two

Friends --- Family ---- people are always saying family just can't be friends it doesn't it work. That your friends have to be someone not connected to you through family . But I beg to differ...this lady has been my sister in law(Barb) ..for over 23 years ....but she has been my friend through all those years ...she has been honest ...loving ...and understanding ....all the things you like for in a friend....and yes we do say what is on our hearts and on our mind ...we don't play a game... for both of us know life is real. So the next time you think a family member can't be your friend....remember it is you that stops and makes those decisions and you stop what could be an awesome sister in law or brother in law from becoming what they are in your life a friend. Love ya David and Neti ..sorry I couldn't get the picture to load(I think I saved it wrong) ..boohoo again these people are family and friends ..and I thank them for that .. I love them dearly

Well it has been a week since we arrived at Edith Lake ...there have been fish caught from 2 pounds to 7 pounds ..so we will stay one more week ...we have company arriving tonight and tomorrow is it should be a fun filled weekend ..and a lot of who caught the biggest fish ...guys!!!

Well the first day of school ....and Melissa first day in Grade 7 ....wow ..so hard to believe are little kindergarten girl to grade 7 ...so is quite a lady and we love her dearly

...way to go girl.

I want to added today's blog that if some of you were not comfortable about yesterday's blog I am sorry ..I did get a couple of emails just to say hi and to say they are there for me through thick and thin...thanks. My mom and I talked about what I had written ..and she said no one should feel ugh about what I had to say. It is trying to sort things through ..time is not forever and I want to have a good time and a relaxed time ..not always having to watch my back about things going on in my life or my families or my kids. I like what my SIL Barb always says enjoy those that want to be around and love those that are close ...and Barb I love you dearly..thanks . So glad she is part of my family her and Miles are always encouraging .....thanks sis.

I am so happy for her and Miles if you have not been over to her blog ...well let me show you her birthday present ...it is awesome ..and her husband did awesome ..a wow ..he loves his lady very much. The Lord has blessed them over and over again ...they are so faithful to the Lord.

Sunday at Edith lake

Well this weekend has been a fast one …from Barriere going to Salmon Arm and then setting up for the school run . We are now at Edith lake for a bit …we will see how the wind goes. This lake is a short drive to Melissa school and seeing school starts tomorrow we felt we should get close for the first week and see how things go. We still have two more meetings of family to do so ..we will be off and heading down the road . It has been a fun summer . We meet some wonderful people made new friends and visited with old ones . We saw family and had family came visit us . Thanks to all and thanks for the memories. Two very new and wonderful people we meet were Nigel and Wendy …Nigel is from Australia and Wendy from Barriere ….yes Wendy is DJ sister a very awesome lady ..who travels a lot and so does Nigel . Boy some of the places he has been ..both him and Wendy have been around the world. I know Mom Ivy misses her daughter ..but she loves that her daughter's life is full. We had the privilege of camping with them for about a week and a half ….they have built their retirement home in Australia a home that overlooks the ocean and where you can watch the dolphins play from the sundeck ….wow Australia. But for now their home is Texas ..when they are home …Wendy leaves for Italy this next week and then Greece ..she does a lot of traveling ..I asked her to spend me pictures …these are places I will never make it to …so Wendy please send lots. And thanks again for the time shared. And Nigel send some of those awesome recipes you have .

Well this months have been an eye opener to a few things …have you ever wanted some one or persons to just be a part of your family or even just to be a friend …but for the right reasons …not to be there just to get goods on you to spread to others …gossip ..and even maybe turn it a bit so it keeps walls or doubts there ..so you can never figure out if they want to be a friend or foe …this has been my thing this year …see time does not go on forever... there is not a tomorrow that all can be fix. I have always wanted to be a part of a family and I am with my family ..my kids …but there has always been this place where you are not allow to cross you are made to wonder…in these last days I don’t want phoney I want real ….so when asked what are you ..friend or foe....how would you answer...honestly?????

I hope you all understand what I am trying to say ...I love you all and would love for all us to have memories together and be family ...but most of all FRIENDS to make a FAMILY.
