Daily time with the Lord is absolutely essential for our spiritual health. It is our lifeline to our Lord. Without it we will be powerless and unfruitful. But with it, we are ready to face the day, no matter what it holds. For we can be assured that:

He will never leave us or forsake us. He will guide us and guard us.
He will give us the wisdom we need and the words we need.
He will give us courage and comfort. He will give us strength and a song to sing.
He will give us the joy of the Lord, His peace will surround us wherever we go.
He will hear and answer as we walk in the light of His presence.

The very first He will reminds me of Barb and the love we share and how her and Miles have always stood by us...so as I start this year ..I want to thank them ...my family ...The Forsyth's Family ...my girls and my grandkids..

Then Jesus told his disciples....that they should always pray not give up.(Luke 18:1)

I ask Lord that all that all that I may have offended or hurt in 2007..will find forgiveness in their hearts for me and give me another chance ..to be what they need me to be ...I ask in your name Lord ...and thank you for all that you will do ...

This is our little Abi...she loves the snow...

Well here we are in to the 4th of January...the weather is so mild and things are melting. Where we are parked we can see for some distance even over Kamloops...it is a pretty view. Below us is a little pond the people in this area have cleaned it and all can skate on it ...Melissa and her friend are hoping to do that today....it is Barry’s last day off then he is back for 4 days ...so it will be a relaxing day for him.
It is hard to believe...we are going on to our 7 month of living in our fifth wheel ....wow
So today Lord I ask for my words to be pleasing to You today. Set a watch over my lips, so that I will know when to speak and when to remain silent. I pray that out of my mouth will flow words of wisdom and kindness. May my speech always be gracious, “seasoned with salt.” May I know how to respond to each person I encounter. May I be slow to speak and slow to become angry. Help me to listen carefully to others, not interrupting their conversations. Prompt me to speak fitting words. Thank You for helping this important area today. In Jesus name, amen.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)

In this area I have lots to learn...need to learn to slow down and listen...since hurting my knee and seeing at this time they will not do the operation. I have found me feeling sorry for me ...and poor me and all that other stuff that comes with me stuff. It has been hard for me to let go of my independence...and to take the help and the words of love ...I ask for their forgiveness ...and ask for them to understand ...and ask the Lord to also work in this area ...for me to see it is in love they offer the help ....and helpful hand.

Well we started Christmas eve off with a wiener roast ...sledding...fire works ...and of course the big question asked of Candy....and very excited kids ...for they all knew Santa was coming. So by the pictures you can see all had fun even the big kids... Barry and I would like to say a BIG THANKS TO THE JOHNSON FAMILY for opening their homes and making us feel like it was our home to.... the day was spent relaxing and eating ..great fun...

Well here we go ..Barry and I ...Candy & DJ and Samantha starting off are Christmas stay at DJ's ..the girls had a fun day of making nuts and bolts ...DJ's mom Ivy made homemade fudge ...and butter tarts. Me I just took pictures ...Barry worked on Candy's xmas present...and DJ got the snowmobiles ready for all of us to have some fun...even I got brave and took a few spins...it was the greatest. We got lots of snow so the Sunday fun-day should be a awesome...wish you all could be here....we all want to wish you all the greatest Christmas and Happy New Year..

Well this was the school's Christmas Concert ..I know this should of been put up before the other concert ..but I lost the video and did not found it till today ...sorry about that. In Melissa's classroom their teacher taught them the Tango ..and boy they were good at it. has many of you know our school is the first Science school in B.C. ..so a few of us were worried that Christmas might get side tracked. But it did not ...they song old Christmas songs and did not get lost in all the stuff about saying WHAT. All the kids were awesome...but you know Papa his granddaughter was on the stage so here's she is doing the Tango ...she is the girl in the lite green skirt....hope you enjoy .....we all love you Missy

The signs of winter

Well has many of you know Barry and I and Melissa started our big adventure this June..we sold our home and moved into our fifth wheel ....
Well to let a lot of you know this is hard part of the year for me ..this is where I have realized how much my home meant to me ..at this time of the year ..you see I would decorate every room in my home...every item had a memory ..if you know what I mean. Also it is a time to remember why we celebrate this season ...for the Lord. Many have been praying for me.. I have a situation in my life and with the Lord's help I will be able to let them know how much I love them more than words can say ...and one day soon we will be talking and laughing together.

I not saying I don't love our new life ..it just hit me what I would be doing if I was in my house

where we lived for 17 years ....so it has been a bit hard on me .
So this year I hope you will all love me and understand ...I love you all and wish you the best through this time and God Bless you all ....

Barry had so much fun last Saturday ...him and few friends went ice fishing ...well if you get the chance ask Barry to show you the whole video ...the guys had fun and caught a lot of fish. They took 27 home with them (5 guys) ...Steve and Ed were nice enough to smoke them up ..and the fish is awesome ..these were brookies they were catching ...hope you all enjoy the little video I got barry to do .

Like the frost crystals ..each one being different and unique..it is the same for us as people..we were created different ...but made to stand together... I know many may judge me for "being religious" but you who judge me that way could be easily also be considered to be the "religious ones", after all, you see the world tells not to smoke ... what alcohol does to unborn babies... to families... the world tells to hate... to go to war for their beleiveths... we are taxed ...


The Lord allows me free choice of knowing the differences between good and bad. I gain freedom once I learn what He has and has given for me to have a GOOD life...

I am praying for you as you read through today's entry...


Well today begins the battle ... the battle about who I am. I recently attended a women’s conference. The speaker was Lisa Bevere. She's a powerful woman of God and a terrific speaker who I'd highly recommend! She has written a few books... and she chose to talk to us ladies about her book called “Fight Like a Girl” In her book she addresses the idea of how we women sometimes feel we must fight like men or fight dirty ... and therefore, some of us women can be pretty mean people. And this is not what the Lord has in mind for us ....


It is strange, but I've never realized that God is trying to give us freedom. God is all about freedom. He desires us totally to be free so we can be completely His.

Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

We like to make a reason for why we are 'victims' – or too fat, too thin (etc) and we therefore handicap ourselves and we give up fighting. But God never will give up on us. He loves giving us the opportunity to face what we fear, because when we face our fears we become fearless.


That is were I sometimes get trapped ... trying to be what I think what other people expect me to be and I wind up not only with the problem unsolved but also being a problem myself!


I think that is why we like hanging with the men - they deal with things in a straighforward manner, they say it and do it and don't worry so much about other people.


See God created us women to stand with our men ..for them to be strong and our protectors, and us women to be loving nurturing - the precious vessels to carry God’s seed. The Lord called us to be daughters of the Most High God..



Heavenly Father,

I want to walk in truth and light.

I want to reveal myself as the woman You created me to be.

Forgive me for hiding behind the facade of a man.

I believe there is ultimately more power in my revelation as a woman.

Holy Spirit, have Your way in my life.

I want to fight my battles in my mightiest form.

I will not draw back in fear, but I will boldly stake my claim to fight all that comes between my honour, my Lord and my family.

Amen



I enjoyed listening to Lisa as she shares her wisdom about the things which most of us as women struggle with, in particular how we gossip, often saying one thing to someone's face, and yet another behind someone's back. Lisa hopes to teach us women to open the door to allow the Lord to make each one of us woman (and the women of the world) see each other has the Lord sees us. He has given each of us the strength and power and love to do battle!


I want to be the voice of a mother to the young, a friend to my sisters, and a daughter to those who now rest awhile after so many years of dancing. I want to help women capture the beauty and strength of their life seasons. No matter what our present season or perspective, this cannot happen until we first learn to love one another and who we are as women.


One message Lisa delivers is being a women is not a problem... it is the answer. The more she shares she guides us through scripture where God tells us what we were created for... and of the powers He has given us. He is the one that formed us. It is His words that set us free. We are not man made - we are heavenly made.


Each day look in the mirror and say ”I am an answer. I have the power to rock this world. I was created for good and not harm. I don’t need to roar, for I hold the power of the whisper. I don’t have to be black and white...for I am the color and beauty of creation.” Women are not men , but they are often the men’s answer.

Genesis 2 :18

It is not good for a man to be alone.
I will make a companion who will help him.

For so long I've believed that I am a problem, thinking “If I did this or that ...or whatever it would take to have people like me.” I forgot the most important thing of all! That the Lord does love me. He is trying to set me free. Free from where we 'human' men and women place me.
If you search the Bible you'll find that God loves his daughters and wants so much for them and has so much to give them. I hope in the days that follow and has I read on ...the Lord will set my soul free and show me the plans His has for me..



Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus. I believe You see me as lovely. I believe You created me and knit me in my mother’s womb for good and not for harm. I have been attacked as a problem; I want to be released as an answer. I lift my face to You; restore the tenderness of my voice. I want to bring healing and hope to a lost and dying world, but first I need You to intimately touch and heal my own life. Change my perspective. Restore my soul . Call me lovely. Hold me close. I remove the awkward costume and come before You ready to be redressed in the splendour of my origin. Spirit, breathe life on every dead and barren place. The weekend of the 19th ,20th and 21,st ...Melissa and I had the honour of spending some awesome time with Barb and Miles. Miles thanks for that awesome dinner ..we loved it . My sister-in-law Barb ..was showing me how to do some awesome things with pictures ..that lady is so talented ...and patience ..thank the Lord for that . It was fun Barb thanks so much ...and Melissa had fun downloading music to her new IPOD an 80gig IPOD..so she was not bored . Also Barb took us out for high tea ..and it was great meeting you Melanie ...the tea and scones were awesome. If you look up and see my new banner it is thanks to my sis ..I may have taken the picture but she did awesome job of joining everything together . Time went so fast ..but I will be going back ..remember I said thank the Lord for Barbs patience's ....hehehe

Well ..yes I know this is late in posting...but as of July 16th, 2007... my husband Barry (Forsyth) is now a foreman at Highland Valley Copper Mine. This is a job that Barry was not sure if he wanted ... he's a 'people person' with a heart for his fellow workers... and was afraid that if he put put on the foreman's hat he would seem a different person...to the friends he's worked with for years. He is a man who gives and always wants to give a hand to all....which has sometimes caused him to be hurt, but he'd have it no other way. "Generous" could be his middle name, as Barry would give the shirt off his back if it would help you out.

Barry's brother David always knew Barry had a higher calling - he told Barry for years that he had it in him to be a millwright ...and that Barry should go for his ticket ... which Barry finally did ...and in 2002. Barry became a red seal ..which meant he could now do his trade in any province. I know that it was the the support of our children and family members - and the prayers of Miles and Barb ( his sister and brother in law) But the mine manager also saw Barry's the ability to be a person who could move up ... that becoming a foreman would not go to his head - inflate his ego. Barry's desire is for his crew to be the best that they are ...and he will help ..teach and bend down and work along side of these men .

As his wife I am so proud of him ...he has the heart and smarts to be all that he has been asked to be . We made a life changing decision to start our new life living in our fifth wheel recently - to live and laugh ...and not count all the material things that some think are all - important....we are not putting off and waiting for that one day dream ..we are going for it now ...


Congratulations Barry (husband, father,Papa, friend!) WE LOVE YOU WITH ALL OUR HEARTS!
